Christmas Songs

Christmas music has been playing since October and I am sick of it.

However, there are 2 Christmas songs I can tolerate:

American Idol ~ Hello Top 13!

I haven't watched AI for about 3 years. The talent just wasn't up to par - in my opinion, Simon had become a characature and the new judges were just not interesting. And, I missed the "ooh whoa whoa."

The addition of J-Lo and Steven Tyler did not appeal to me, at first. However, throughout the audition process, nothing but good things were said about both. So, I started watching 'Hollywood Week.'

Saw some amazing and talented singers. Cringed and cried when some chick said she didn't know the Beatles. Cringed and cried once more when the top 24 were announced.

2 nights and 40 million votes later, we get our Top 13. dun dun dun!

Oh, wait ~ Steven Tyler in pink ruffled shirt and leather jacket? Yes, please.

Scotty ~ deep voice kid. Country singer. I'm out.

Jacob Lusk ~ God Bless the Child. Done. Over. The end. I'm IN!

Paul McDonald ~ the whitest teeth I've ever seen. His Beatles duet with Kendra (who didn't make it) was fantastic. I'm IN!

James ~ Judas. Priest. Hell. Yeah. I'm IN!

Casey ~ Stand up bass? Aww, yeah. I dig him all the way. I'm IN!

Stefano ~ Not as impressed as J-Lo. I'm out.

Lauren ~ isn't she 16 or something? I'm in.

Pia ~ I have no recollection of her singing. At all.

Thia ~ I dig her all the way. I'm in.

Ashton ~ got lucky with the Wild Card. She was good.

Karen ~ I knew she was in when she sang Mariah Carey's Hero in English and Spanish. She got the demographic right.

Naima ~ Steven loves her. My jury's still out.

Hayley ~ I got nothing.

I think the guys are strong in this season; wide variety of styles and appeal. I'm sure someone can (and will) say the same about the girls; just not impressed yet.

What say you?

ooh whoa whoa ~ Idol Top 12 03.11.08

New set ~ oooh!

(I'm sick of snarky Simon and Ryan. Mean is not funny.)

Lennon/McCartney night has me scared: this could be absolutely amazing or completely horrendous...

Syesha ~ Got To Get You Into My Life ~ Yes, she can sing. Just not this. Rough start. And she needs to make friends with the show stylist.

Chikeze ~ She's a Woman ~ Wow. How different. I think I like it. No, really. I like it. Very tent revival-esque at the end. Nice! He actually took a risk, mixed it up and it worked. Whew.

Ramiele ~ In My Life ~ Ohh, this is a sentimental, special song to me. OK, seriously? What's with the cheesy stare on the stairs? It's a center-stage, mic stand only type of song. Not blown away. She sounds out of breath. Stylist. Where's the stylist?

Jason ~ If I Fell ~ He's very sweet. I like it and him.

Carly ~ Come Together ~ I totally agree with Quernzy & Greeblemonkey - Carly went up a coupla notches in my book. I liked her and the song. However, I think Amanda woulda rocked it harder and better.

David C ~ Eleanor Rigby ~ another sentimental, special song to me. Nice groove goin' on...and, as much as I hate to admit, I like it. Jury's still out on him but diggin' the song.

Brooke ~ Let It Be ~ I tuned out.

David H ~ Saw Her Standing There ~ for a former 'dancer' he's got lousy moves. Might I suggest the audience wave dollar bills, y'all. OK. The song - Tiffany, in all her mall wisdom, performed it much better.

Amanda ~ Can't Do That ~ I really like her; she's very Grace Slick-ish. She woulda rocked it out on 'Come Together' but did well on this song (even if she sorta mumbled a lot).

Michael ~ Across the Universe ~ Didn't do it for me, dawg. He still hasn't found THE SONG. I'm waiting...

Kristy Lee (who?) ~ 8 Days a Week ~ OMG. Country?! I reject that totally! Horrible. Just horrible, Carrie Underwood Jr. :::shiver:::

David A ~ We Can Work It Out ~ ooh, he messed up the lyrics, tsk tsk. It was okay. Too much pressure on the kid?

Bottom 3? Ramiele, Carrie Underwood Jr, Syesha?

ooh whoa whoa ~ Top 10 Boys 02.26.08

We've gone from 24 to 20: 10 men, 10 women. Let's hope those who can, bring it. Tonight is Songs from the 70s. This...

is American Idol.

~ Michael Johns - Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac. Ohhhh. Not doin' it for me, Dawg. He's very...bouncy. But not too impressive with the vocals tonight. He'll be around cuz he's hot. Simon agrees with me.

~ Jason Castro - Be Your Everything by Andy Gibb. Yes, I said Andy Gibb. Jason rocked Andy Gibb tonight. I liked it. Seriously, I did. Sorta sweet and sorta strange. I think singing with his guitar is some sort of protection thing...would like to see if his vocals get stronger without it.

~ Luke Mendard - Killer Queen by Queen. Interesting choice. He totally lacks the sass that Freddie has on the song (OK, yeah, it *is* Freddie...but still). Not doin' it for me, Dawg.

~ Robbie Carrico - Hot Blooded by Foreigner. He's not 'rocker.' Bo Bice and Chris Daughtry were 'rocker' ~ ooh, speak on it, Randy (he agrees with me). He looks like Justin Timberlake.

~ Danny Noriega - Superstar by the Carpenters. He really does look like Hannah Montana. Hard to hear this song because 1) Ruuuuben auditioned with it and killed it. Killed. And, 2) it's the Carpenters. *sigh* Anyway, not doin' it for me, Dawg.

~ David Hernandez - Papa Was a Rolling Stone by the Temptations. I really like this. He could use more grit...overall, I'm surprised by how much I like this.

~ Jason Yeager - Long Train Runnin' by the Doobie Bros. He makes the song sound lounge-y. Deanna from RockStar INXS did this song much better. Ohhh, you are not long for this competition, my dear. Not doin' it for me, Dawg. Damn, Simon - brutal.

~ Chikeze - I Believe to My Soul by Donny Hathaway. Another of my favorite songs! When Ryan teased 'Donny Hathaway' going into commercial, I was scared. Surprisingly, not scary at all! I like it. Get funky now! Sad that he let others bastardize his name when he was growing up...

~ David Cook - Alright Now by Free. He's rockin' it. This is how I expect Robbie and Jason to sound. He blew the lyrics throughout the whole song, no one called him on it. He should lose the guitar, engage the audience more. Don't think Simon likes David much - Simon blew David's retort out of proportion.

~ David Archuleta - Imagine by John Lennon. Very nice interpretation. Wow. That is doin' it for me, Dawg. :::chills:::

The girls sing tomorrow night ~ and I'm going to miss it, once again. Read Aimee Greeblemonkey's recap.

I'm thinkin' Jason Yeager, David Cook or DannyMontanny will be goin their own way...

ooh whoa whoa ~ Top 12 Boys 02.19.08

OMG! I am *soooo* excited!
I really love American Idol!
I really wish I had TiVo.
iTunes?! *sigh* It's all about the sponsorship, isn't it?

It's Music of the 60s night (I love theme nights!), so let's go:
  • David Hernandez ~ In the Midnight Hour ~ I loved his rendition of "Love the One You're With" during Hollywood week, so I'm pretty excited to hear him tonight. Hmm - digg the gospel-esque start (complete with organ). I'm not connecting with him, though. Move, dude! Good singing, but I'm not engaged.
  • Chikeze ~ More Today Than Yesterday ~ OMG! My favorite song of all time! And he's not doing it very well. He sings really well, he really does. But not this arrangement of the song. OK, Simon - you're just mean! (Calling him 'jacuzzi or whatever' and really, what does clothing have to do with singing? Nothing. Boooooo, Simon!)
  • David Cook ~ Happy Together ~ another of my favorite songs of all time! I'm not on board. I don't know why. I get why RPS like it...I'm just not feelin' it, dawg.
  • Jason Yeager ~ Moon River ~ He's sitting down. Facing the judges. Really? Hmm. Ooh, shaky bit right there in the middle. Ended fairly well. :::shoulder shrug:::
  • Robbie Carrico ~ One ~ Eh. Okay. Not blown away. I really don't understand the judges and their 'logic' or whatever it is. (Sidebar: Robbie previously had a recording contract. Hmm...)
  • David Archuleta ~ Shop Around ~ to paraphrase Kip Winger 'he's only seventeen' - he's so darling! The perfect song interpretation for this competition - fun, appealing. This kid'll go far this year...
  • Danny Noriega ~ Jailhouse Rock ~ He looks like Hannah Montana with Zac Efron hair. Music is playing faster than he's singing. WTF is Paula talking about?! Eh. Not impressed.
  • Luke Menard ~ Everybody's Talking At Me ~ Is it Rissa's Favorite Songs night? I think it is! ;) I love love love this song, from the movie Midnight Cowboy. I think Luke is totally hot. He's a bit too dressed 'down' for my taste - c'mon, he's on TV - but maybe he's relating to the movie? Anyway, it was nicely done singing-wise; but a bit flat.
  • Colton Perry ~ Suspicious Minds ~ Who is this kid? Ugh.
  • Garret Haley ~ Breaking Up is Hard to Do ~ What's American Idol without a Neil Sedaka-penned song? Nothing, I tell you. Nothing! This kid and David Archuleta will be fighting for the teens and tweens votes - they're dreamy. The song? Eh. Simon is brutal. Make him stop.
  • Jason Castro ~ I forgot which song he sang. He's totally darling!
  • Michael Johns ~ Light My Fire ~ another guy with a recording contract. Hmm. He's hot, he's shouting/trying too hard, but he'll get through.
  • I'm guessing Chikeze, Blue Moon guy or Luke will be out tonight.

ooh whoa whoa ~ American Idol Top 24

50 kids to be whittled down to 24 ~ 12 boys, 12 girls...let's get it started:

  • Yep. I am so done with Ryan Seacrest.
  • I'm soooo nervous! :::squeal:::
  • First guy in is the first rejection of the day. I'm sad.
  • No.
  • No.
  • No.
  • Irish/Scottish girl, Carly Smithson. Geez, Paula! Just effing tell her already! Good, Simon agreed with me. She's in! Yay :)
  • OMG, I'm totally crying! Dorkus Maximus.
  • David Cook - in!
  • Oooh! The rocker nurse/Light My Fire/Grace Slick-esque chick, Amanda is in! Yay! :) :)
  • And another one gone.
  • And another one gone.
  • Another one bites the dust.
  • David Archuleta - he's 16. Good grief. Oh, good - he's in.
  • commercial - 4 Idols (2 boys, 2 girls)
  • Kristy Lee Cook? Who? She's in.
  • ooh, Carole King singing girl, Brooke...she's crying in the waiting room...how nerve-wracking (for her, too)...she's in! Yay!
  • I'm crying again.
  • Danny, the kid with Zac Efron hair and sounds like Clay is in.
  • a couple more are in - but WTF are they?!
  • Ramiele (who?!) is in.
  • Commercial break - oooh, ballroom dancing competition on PBS :)
  • Australian rocker Michael Johns is in, of course. (Uhh, does it matter that this American Idol contestant isn't American?)
  • Lost my voice girl who sang Chain of Fools and killed it (no, it's a good thing!) is in! Syesha...
  • long hair rocker dude Robbie is in.
  • Who?
  • Who?
  • Who?
  • Who? Oh well, they're in.
  • Girl with blue eye shadow who sang Mary J is in - yay!
  • Yay - Love The One You're With dude, David, is in!
  • Josiah. He dismissed the band in the final round. Paula said he had 'spirit' (yes he do, he got spirit, how 'bout you?). Not in. Damn - there goes our drinking game, Ash. Boo hoo.
  • Shut up, Ryan. He's devastated. You're not helping.
  • OK...I hate this: 2 slots left, 4 people left.
  • For the guys - some dude I've never seen and the future President/Sanjaya version 2.0 are left. And, it's Colton Berry. Who?
  • OK, Simon - got a bone to pick with you! If it isn't about having a good voice, you should have let more bad singers but better entertainers in the competition. Boooo to you Simon.
  • OK - 2 girls, last spot. Who? Plus size model and a skinny girl. I was thinking skinny girl until the plus size girl started talking. She said she fell out of love with singing because of all the roadblocks she encountered in the 'business' due to her size. Simon looked at her and said out loud - oh, that shouldn't matter at all. WTF?! Simon, Simon, Simon. Hypocrite. What about all of the girls you've told to lose weight to make it in the competition? Tsk tsk tsk. I like you a little bit less.
  • Whoa, wait a minute! Who's Luke? Who is this guy? Yowza!

America starts voting next week! :::squeal::: Thank you AT&T for unlimited text messaging plan :)

Rissa out.

ooh whoa whoa ~ Idol in Hollywood

Idol's in Hollywood this week! (Shh - it's really Pasadena)

My random thoughts on tonight's 2-hour show:
  • I am so over Ryan Seacrest.
  • Brooke ~ the 1st singer is very good! I love love love Carole King (after this, I'm off to iTunes to look for Tapestry)
  • I love me some Simon. Is it just me or is he hotness? He's hotness.
  • not sure I'm on baord with the instruments; it's distracting.
  • Really? Drums? Where's Daughtry when ya need him...
  • OK ~ I'm all aboard the Love the One You're With guy!
  • I miss the 'ooh whoa whoa' vocal from Idol's first season theme intro
  • totally digg the Rocker Nurse chick who sang the Doors ~ vocally reminiscent of Grace Slick; I agree with Simon that that could get old.
  • Hooray for the 'forgotten lyrics' montage! It's a personal favorite. Would rather watch weeks of that than the poser 'singer' auditions.
  • David with guitar singing Bryan Adams. Paula called it 'soothing.' Really? Was she listening?
  • Oooh! "most vicious (cut) in Idol history!" Taking histrionics lessons from Chris Harrison and the Bachelor ;)
  • ooooh! I love the tension before the cuts!
  • No competition show is complete without the bitter contestants saying "blah blah blah people who don't deserve to be here" or "blah blah blah just wish I was given the same/fair chance like everybody else"
  • OK - nerdy/someday I'll be President guy? If he makes it through, he's the Sanjaya of 2008.

Tomorrow's gonna be awesome!

emotions in motion

Excited
'American Idol' is back! Woo hoooo! Last night was the beginning of Season 7. I usually watch the first couple of night as I can only handle so much bad singing, posturing and insults. But once they move to the L.A. rounds - watch out! I'm on it.

Excited, nervous, creative, challenged, fulfilled. accomplished
A month or so before I turned 40, I wrote a list of things I'd like to do - a resolution-type list, if you will. One of the items is 'find a creative writing class.' I checked out community colleges in the area but the classes offered are during the day - nocando. Last week, I applied for a private creative writing course (only 8-10 students). This week, I found out I was accepted! I am soooo excited about it. And I'm totally nervous. No doubt I'm up for the challenge. I think my pre-conceived notions of writing creatively has me panicked...

Bummed, pissed
The Writers Guild (WGA) will not issue a waiver for the Grammys. What does this mean? Very likely, no Grammys. Very likely, no Rissa at the Grammys. What a drag! It's the 50th anniversary, too. :::sniffle:::

Unsure, yet excited
LOST is coming back! Finally! It seems as though this show has been on 'break' for years. I'm sorta on the fence about getting myself involved again only because I know the show has been cut to 8 episodes. This will, once again, leave all of us hanging with tons of unanswered questions. I have to find out who Jack needs to rescue back on the island and who was in the casket with no one at the funeral and who Kate ended up with and WTF happened to Michael & Walt. Ah, yes - it's all coming back to me now.

Shameless, enthralled, disappointed
I love reality TV! Especially the ones about finding love (The Bachelor, Average Joe, et al). No shame in that game whatsoever! Last season, I got hooked on both 'Scott Baio is 45 and Single' and 'Bret Michaels' Rock of Love.' I mean hooked. The shows are so fascinating to me! This season, Scott Baio is 46 and pregnant. Watching him freak out in the first 10 minutes of the show was brilliant. He's so over-the-top and ridiculous, I believe he's acting. But whatever. It's a train wreck and I can't stop watching! Another reason for me to watch? My friend, Bill, is the guy teaching the Parenting for Dads class! :) OK. Rock of Love. The most awesome train wreck on TV ever! Last season, Bret chose Jes. It didn't happen for them (she essentially dumped him on the reunion show). So, he's back. And the girls are ridiculous! Seriously. I've never seen so much fake boobage, bad eyebrows, over-injected lips and horrible clothing in one place at one time. It's phenomenal! This is gonna be the best train wreck ever! :)

The Bachelor ~ #10

I swore off The Bachelor a couple of years ago. Like most long-running reality TV shows, The Bachelor casts "characters" ~ The Virgin, The Bitchy Girl Who Fights With Everyone, The Psycho, etc. After nine seasons (let's name them, shall we? Alex, Aaron, Andrew, Bob, Jesse, Byron, Charlie, Travis and "Prince" Lorenzo), I needed a break. Last night, however, I tuned in. And boy am I glad I did! It was :::insert Chris Harrison voice::: the most fun Bachelor episode ever.

For those unfamiliar with the process, one guy (The Bachelor) gets to meet 25 girls, eliminating them week after week until he's left with The One. Of the 9 previous Bachelors, only a couple have actually proposed. Of those Bachelors, only ONE couple is still together (Byron and Mary). This bothered me. I'm invested in the show for three months only to have The Bachelor offer the ring as a "promise" or something. It's a huge letdown. (Side bar: Trista - the first Bachelorette - actually was proposed to by Ryan, married Ryan and is now expecting a baby with Ryan!). But, I digress.

Andy, The Bachelor (An Officer and a Gentleman) is a navy doctor. From the neck down, he's pretty rockin'. It's his 30th birthday and he gets his pick of 25 women. One by one they exit the limo to meet him. 95% are blonde. 95% of that 95% have horrible color (washed-out complexion, too bleached, too fake). A lot of sparkly dresses and sparkly girls. Most of the sparkly girls I honestly don't remember. But here are the highlights:

Girl Who Sings - she sang the National Anthem to him. Out loud. In front of other people. For a minute there, I thought it was American Idol (ooh whoa whoa).

Girl With Big Eyes & Biceps - she challenged The Bachelor (An Officer and a Gentleman) to push-ups. Push-ups. Seriously. In her grown-up prom dress, the Girl did push-ups. Ai yi yi.

Girl from Alabama - she was the source of all things entertaining last night! Let's see...she drank a lot. A lot. She fell off her barstool without spilling a drop of her drink! How's that for a neat party trick? She then got into a verbal brawl with Loudmouth Girl. And, to top it all off, Girl from Alabama raps. She rapped - complete with the oh-so-timely beat-boxing - something about Andy. I'm sad she didn't get a rose. I'll miss her entertainment value.

I've decided to stick with this one until the end. Why? Because it was announced at the beginning of the show that there WILL be a payoff. The Bachelor (An Officer and a Gentleman) will propose! :::gasp::: Shut up! I'm in.

So, time to invest in more VCR tapes. I am *not* gonna miss THIS.

"Ladies, please take a moment and say your good-byes."

Idol ~ ooh whoa whoa

American Idol wasn't on last night. The much-anticipated show was replaced by some snore-fest. WTC?! These are the Top 12 guys? Mmmmkay. The first guy, let's call him Boring Guy I, usually is pretty nervous kicking off the show, so I give him some leeway. Geez, I don't even remember what he sang! Background Singer Guy, who impressed me in auditions, barely warranted a yawn from me. What did he sing? BeatBoxBoy failed to impress me, though I am eternally grateful he didn't beatbox his way through his song. Incredulously, Paula & Randy said they *missed* the beatbox thing. What. Ev. Er. "That's your thang, dawg." Ugh. Who chose these songs?! After 5 AI seasons, have these people learned nothing? Don't choose Stevie or Lutha or Whitney or Mariah or Christina unless you can sing the song better than the original!! How often does *that* get said on the show? The only singer & song I remember is SquareBeard Sundance because he wailed "Nights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues. And I only remember this because I called Dawnee wailing "Nights in freakin' White Satin?! The Moody Blues?! Are you kidding me with this?!" Nope. Sadly, so not kidding. Sundance Kid couldn't hit the notes if he was playing Whack-A-Mole at Chuck E. Cheese. The judges were right: stick to the blues that got you through the auditions, man. You kill the blues! And, you killed the Moody Blues. Make Hasselhoff Cry Guy wasn't impressive either. Too bad - I had high hopes for that one. And Randy, bless his heart, proclaimed Guy Who Missed the Birth of his Daughter to Audition as the best singer of the night. Huh? Wha'? I should have just gone to sleep and watched the highlights. Lesson learned.

I really hope the girls "bring it" tonight. I want to see a couple of 'em slap the guys around via song. I hope it isn't a night of ballads...

Studio 60/Sting and ME!

One of the best things about working for the Company is, undoubtedly, the perks ~ movie screenings before public release, celebrity sightings any day of the week, the Love Rocks concert at the Kodak Theatre, "Friends" tapings, etc. Nothin' but love!

Last week, the Company held a lottery for employees to be an audience member on the new Matthew Perry/Bradley Whitford show "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" with Sting as the special guest. Um. Hellooooo! Firing off an email to enter while still reading the announcement, I kept thinking "Sting AND Matthew Perry. Sting AND Matthew Perry." This doesn't happen all the time, People! Wouldnyaknowit - I'm a weener! Woo hooo! Mandy too! BFFs on TV with Matthew Perry (he's on our laminated cards)?! What do we do? We go shopping. Of course!

Because production has no set schedule, and we were at their mercy, our call time changed right up until the day before the shoot. I'd heard a lot of people complained and canceled because production couldn't say *when* the taping would be finished. Whatever! It's a unique opportunity - take advantage and enjoy! Don't get me wrong - it was a long effing day. It's Sting, People. Sting! *sigh*

I got to Stage 25 @ 11:35 a.m. There were several tables & chairs, with small groups of people scattered all around. I filled out my release, sat down and waited. M&I looked *totally* fabulous - she in her gray tunic, me in red & black & pearls! Food services had a huge spread - donuts, bagels, bags of chips, granola bars, water, soda, cereal & milk, oatmeal & raisins, peanut butter and jelly - "Help yourself!" Around 2:15 p.m. there was some movement near the door. I saw Fusske make a move...so I pulled Mandy up to the door. Chatting up the security guard, the Producer came in and asked Fusske "are you background?" He said "Yes! We are!" She told him to go. All 7 of us from the table fell in step behind the Producer and walked across to Stage 19. As we walked in, there was definitely a buzz in the air...though it was dark and smoky, the air was electric - you knew this was something special. The set had a stage w/candleabras and stools placed toward the back of Stage 19 ~ a very gothic, romantic feel/look. Three gorgeous tapestries were hung from the ceiling as backdrop for Sting's stage setting. Rotating lights with cut cels shone on the tapestries, making it look like clouds were moving across them; really beautiful. Three rows of seats were directly in front of the stage (these people would be facing Sting) with 2 risers/bleachers positioned off to the left and right. Five or six rows of seats were placed on either side of the stage - this is where we were seated. As we waited to be seated, Sting was standing there. Just standing. There. Umm. Hi. You're Sting. He was backlit - not for show, he just stood right there, in the light. Nice. We're sitting, gawking, watching, waiting, staring, etc. The Producer walked over, standing at the end of my row. I leaned over to her "Thank you very much!" She looked at me - a bit startled and surprised. "Thank *you*! And just for that, when he gets up (she's pointing to Sting's accompanist who's sitting in the first seat of the first row), you can sit there." Yeah I can! Yippeee! She goes to talk with him, he moves and she points to me. I abandon Mandy without reservation or hesitation (Sorry! LYMI!!). I wind up sitting directly behind Sting, next to my former boss, in the camera shot. I am less than 6 feet from Sting. Less than 6 feet. From Sting! Umm. Helloooo! You're Sting and you're standing. There. I'm a bit giddy and giggly at this point (no duh). Sting and his accompanist take the stage with their lutes (sooo...does that make them loutists?) - loud applause, lots of "wooooo"-ing and smiles all around. Umm. Helloooo! It's STING! Lauren Graham introduces Sting for the "Studio 60" show and he performs. He sounded beautiful! Mind you, I'm looking at his back (nice suit, BTW)...but staring up at him in total adulation. We tape that scene a couple of times, then we're released for lunch (again, kudos to Food Services for a great lunch spread - mac n cheese, chicken, fish, steamed broccoli, lots of cakes and pies). After a couple more hours, we're called back into the studio to tape a scene with Matthew Perry (swoon!) and Sarah Paulson on the balcony above the performance area. Again, totally in the camera shot! It was weird to watch Sting, who is just pretending to sing, while MP and SP are conversing. I did sneak a couple of sidelong glances at Mister Matthew Perry, my supersecret boyfriend. No Bradley Whitford, though.
When all was said and done, we'd watched Sting perform the song 4 times through. We were finally released from the production around 9:30 or so. What a long effing day! But soooo worth it!

Look for me on "Studio 60" Monday October 16th (check your local listings)!
